• The US Consumers Union report on marijuana. A good place to start. A totally independent study .
• The Wellcome Trust noticed the drug debate was characterised by a lot of misinformation so has created this unbiased Media Resource about all drugs.
• The Schaffer Library. One of the best independent libraries of studies and reports on Drugs.
• Drug War Facts. A regularly updated site, mostly US based but nevertheless full of useful information.
• MAP inc The best source for any news report either published in newspapers on the radio, TV or Internet. It contains reports from all sides of the debate. (Note: PUB LTE means published letter to Editor)

• National Organisation for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. What it says
• National Institute for Drug Addiction. A US Government site. There use to be a chart of relative addictiveness of major drugs but it was removed when it was realised that it showed that cannabis was the least addictive of all drugs including caffine. However a copy was saved here.

One important fact to remember about American reports is that Reagan ordered the universities to destroy all research papers on marijuana back in '83 and they are only allowed nowadays to do studies that show marijuana and other drugs are harmful. To show how truly paranoid the American government is about drugs. Doctors to are not allowed to proscribe heroin to patients dying of cancer. As far as the US Government is concerned it is just too dangerous. I feel very sad about this personally as both my mother and father died of cancer and their final days were made more comfortable by its use.
