Legalise Cannabis Petition

THE PETITION
Calling for the immediate re-legalisation of cannabis - the removal of cannabis from the Misuse of Drugs Act and other prohibitive legislation - and an immediate halt to the prosecution of people for the possession, cultivation or supply of cannabis subject only to the necessary restrictions needed to ensure quality and cleanliness of supply.

DESIRED OUTCOME
To free cannabis from prohibition thus enabling its full utilisation for all beneficial uses and research - for medicine, relaxant, fuel, fibre and food. This would lead to the solution of many of the major serious problems facing the world today - drug addiction, expensive medication, hunger, pollution and poverty. It would put the control of essential resources into the hands of local communities rather than multinational industrial corporations.
